Travel addiction. Part 3

Alright, so far you've gotten to see where I started getting this addiction to travelling. It started out small with camping, where we never really ventured too far because it just takes too long. We then saw where this love grew and expanded to include airplanes, it took less time to get somewhere completely different than where we were. There is nothing better than leaving Calgary in the middle of winter for a destination that is sunny and hot. This brings us to my next big holiday. I've been by land, and air, now by sea. That's right a cruise.
My first ever cruise was with Carnival. I love the opportunity to travel across the ocean to see countries that I wouldn't normally have seen due to the cost and time required for visiting so many places. My first cruise stopped in Mexico, Jamaica, and the Cayman Islands. Below is a sample itinerary of my trip

A cruise is the perfect way to experience many places in a short period of time in either a relaxed comfortable way, or in a more elegant fancy way. While aboard a cruise ship you have the option of having dinner in casual dinning room which offers usually three to four different types of buffets, or in the fine dinning room. The latter option does require you to dress up, this means no jeans and usually no shorts for men. There is also always one night which is extremely fancy because the Captain comes to dinner. No surprise its called the captain's dinner and everyone is required to wear formal attire. It is a fantastic excuse to dress up and enjoy a fabulous dinner with your family and friends.

While aboard a cruise ship you will have so many things to do. There are shows to go see, from musicals to adult comedy, a casino, pools, night clubs for all ages, and best of all beach chairs on the upper decks. The most amazing thing you will see aboard a cruise ship is the sky at night. You are in the middle of the ocean with no lights with nothing around for miles, and the stars are so incredibly bright. Sitting outside on the deck listening to water splashing against the ship, looking up at the sky watching the stars is the most relaxing place on earth to be..
