Seattle Part 3

Our newest find in Seattle is a great restaurant called the Crab shack. It is right on the ocean and features all sorts of amazing fresh seafood.  You can order a meal for just yourself or you can order one of many platters to share. Each platter comes with fresh Idaho potatoes, corn, fresh bread and a mixture of seafood. We usually end up choosing our favorite, the King Crab platter.

The best part about the Crab Shack is that you don’t get plates. The table is covered in butcher paper and they bring you a small cutting board and a mallet.  The table has a roll of paper towel on it and trust me, you will need it.

Once your meal is ready, they come to the table with a huge metal bowl and dump the contents onto the butcher paper. You end up with a mound of seafood and veggies all over the table.  Quite the experience and I would recommend it to everyone who visits Seattle.

I love seafood, and it does not get better than the Crab Shack. We still have not made it to the Sushi restaurant because we just don’t think it can get any better than the Crab Shack.

If you love sports and you love great food, you need to take a trip to Seattle. Not only can you catch a football game but if you plan it right you can catch a baseball game and football game in the same weekend. After you watch some sports you can find one of the many amazing restaurants or bars to grab dinner and drinks and relax by the ocean for a romantic night for two. At the end of the weekend, everyone will be happy.   J

  1. Hi Chantelle,

Loved reading what you had to say about your Seattle experience! I wrote a post about I made down after I graduated in 2010 and fell in love with the city. It`s interesting that you took the Spokane route because me and my friends typically have taken the mountains through B.C and went south from Surrey B.C.

On a side note, you might want to check your photo`s that you've uploaded as the links aren't appearing :( and I would love to see the amazing photos you've taken!

Great posts, and thanks for sharing!
